Hunton CEP School are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Part time:Monday to Friday 7:45am – 12 noon

The role would involve working with individuals and small groups, running intervention programmes as well as working with pupils in class to ensure they are supported well and make good progress.

The role includes the running of our breakfast club Monday to Friday between 7:45 and 8:30am.

Relevant experience working in a school with SEND and challenging behaviour would be helpful. A proactive, efficient, pragmatic and reflective attitude alongside a nurturing manner with an ability to work well with a team is essential. Additionally, we expect candidates to have good levels of literacy and numeracy.

The role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience under a very supportive leadership team and SENCO. The post is fixed term for 1 year, with the possibility to be made permanent.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School. The school currently has 99 pupils taught in 4 year groups comprising R; 1 and 2; 3 and 4; 5 and 6. The PAN is currently 15.
