Advert

The Abbey School is looking for enthusiastic professionals with a genuine passion for education to join our well-established AEN team and make a difference. Minimum requirements are GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent. Experience of working at ‘A’ level or higher education standard would be desirable.

Experience of working with students that have special educational needs is an advantage, but most valued is the enthusiasm to support and motivate young people and the ability to lead as a positive role model. We are seeking reliable candidates who have patience and understanding and who are also team players. The grade of the position will be either KR3 or KR4 dependant on the responsibilities within the role.

The Abbey School is a highly successful, forward thinking school with over 200 staff. Ofsted in February 2017 graded the school Good in all areas. They noted several strengths including “strong leadership, the quality of teaching, improving exam results, a vibrant sixth form, good behaviour, and an excellent level of care and safety”.

If you enjoy working with children and feel you have the skills to support them, we look forward to receiving an application from you.
