Information about the school

Northfleet School for Girls is a successful and further improving school. In February 2017 we had a very successful Ofsted inspection in which the following observations were made;

"It is clear that leaders, governors and staff at every level have established a culture in which everyone in the community is valued and treated with respect"

"standards continue to improve in all subjects"

"the school is a harmonious environment where pupils are happy"

We have an exciting and friendly school which values every individual as a professional member of the whole team.

Our vision is that all students should dream big and achieve. This is realised through working closely together, having high expectations in all areas and enjoying the journey.

We benefit from a high quality new build a few years ago, good results and positive students who are very much with us on the journey to excellence. The school is now expanding and this is allowing us to invest in recruiting new staff to join our team.

We operate under a College system where we combine academic and pastoral aspects under five Colleges, each with their own College Leader. Whilst much of the work of the subjects is consistent across the school, each of the Colleges develops its own character, ethos and extra opportunities.

Catering for all abilities, the school is proud of the progress and success of all its young people, its varied curriculum and its wide range of extra-curricular activities. It is well supported by experienced Trustees and Governors who are actively involved in the life of the school.

If you would like to join a school where you play an active and valued part in making the whole community the best it can be then please make contact and we would like to talk to you.
