tPhoenix Community Primary School is looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join and support our dedicated staff team in April 2018.

Phoenix Community Primary School is a one-form entry school situated on the outskirts of Ashford. We benefit from a new building which is well respected and looked after. The school is exceptionally well-resourced and, as such, is able to provide opportunities for children significantly beyond that of the National Curriculum.
The school places a high emphasis on the Creative Arts and achieved ArtsMark Gold in 2014. We have our own Music Studio where all children have weekly lessons with specialist music teachers and where subsidised instrumental lessons are offered to pupils.The school invest heavily in ICT with a set of 32 iPads, which are used on a daily basis, and each classroom is fitted with a Clever Touch interactive TV.
The school also has achieved the Primary Science Quality Mark (Silver), the Anti-Bullying Award and the Leading Parent Partnership Award. We also have strong collaborative links with other schools through the CARE foundation trust, the Ashford Teaching Alliance and we are also a Learning Partner of the Cambridge Primary Review Trust.
