1:1 Teaching Assistant
Salary Scale: Pilgrims' Way Primary School KR 3 £15,628 (pro rata £10,014)
28.75 hours per week (8.45am - 3.15pm daily)
(Temporary for 12 months, term time only)

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception class, who are in receipt of High Needs Funding, in all areas of the curriculum. The position is on a temporary contract in the first instance and is to start as soon as possible. Experience in working with complex children or supporting children who need personalised support would be beneficial. You will be working alongside our vibrant TA team in support of Special Educational Needs, fully supported by our SENCo. The post is for five days per week for 28.75 hours temporary for 12 months, term time only.
We are a very caring school with effective structures to support staff in their roles across the school who have been under the new leadership of Veritas Multi Academy Trust since May 2018. We encourage all our staff to be active in their training and development and will support you in your new post at our wonderful school.

The school is a light and airy building, which incorporates 14 classrooms, two Learning Zones and a library. The school has a large playing field at the rear, an ‘outdoor’ classroom where we have a forest school on site. Play equipment for all ages can be found on the playground.
