We are looking for a great teacher to join our hardworking team.
If you are enthusiastic and want to work in an environment that focuses on pupil happiness and well-being as well as academic achievement, then we could have just the job you are looking for.
This is a job-share; but no ordinary job share! You will work with an outstanding teacher who is creative and gives her all to the job. The children are special too; they work hard and try their best in all they do.
We are looking for someone to work two days a week, on a Monday and Tuesday. Ideally we would like the successful candidate to join us at the beginning of Term 4, but a Term 5 start may be negotiable for the right person.
Our school is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers our pupils opportunities to explore their local environment. We have an area for Forest School activities and a large field as well as a tarmacked playground.
At Penshurst we embed our Christian Values of compassion, trust, truth, friendship, determination and respect in all we do and say. We pride ourselves on doing things ‘the Penshurst way’; this means that we live by our vision of ‘faith in our future’ and we always treat others as we wish to be treated.
If you are a teacher with a track record of delivering inspiring lessons together with the ability to motivate children to achieve their best, then we would encourage you to apply for this post. We can guarantee that you will teach pupils who have a thirst for new knowledge, who are ambitious and want to succeed.
This post would be most suitable for someone who would like to develop their middle leadership skills, but finding the right person to teach our pupils is our number one priority.
We look forward to hearing from you.
We are a small village church school, at the heart of our community, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have around 100 pupils taught in four classes: Foundation, Year 2, Years 3&4 and Years 5&6.
The school plays a very active role in the wider community and provides many opportunities for children to develop their talents and interests, whether this be during Forest School, in the many sporting competitions we take part in, or in our wide range of extra-curricular clubs.
Our staff team is experienced, friendly and mutually supportive, which we believe is a real strength of our school. Our Christian values are important to us and are at the heart of all we strive to achieve.
