We are a special school for pupils with EHCPs who have an Autism Spectrum Condition.  Currently located in Borough Green Village, near Wrotham, with Post 16 partnerships at Mid Kent Colleges in Maidstone and Gillingham and Hadlow College in Hadlow.

During Spring 2019 we will be opening our primary provision in Stansted village, situated 4 miles from the main school site.  This new primary site will accommodate 36 pupils in Key Stage 2, aged between 9-11 years.

Due to our expansion we are looking to appoint a flexible, organised and enthusiastic Finance and Exams Officer, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to join our friendly school.

The school offers comprehensive training in ASC, exceptional CPD support and development opportunities through our Co-operative Trust of SEN schools.

Hours will be 37 per week, 5 days a week from 8.00am – 4.00pm, Mondays to Thursdays and 8.00am – 3.30pm on Fridays, for 40 weeks a year. Actual salary based on qualifications, skills and previous experience within the advertised range.

The position will involve working closely with pupils, parents, and members of the community and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for both callers and visitors into the school.

Various clerical tasks will also form part of this role, including typing, filing, record keeping and photocopying.

Previous experience of SIMS.net knowledge would be desirable however full training will be provided. Experience of general office and other computer programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) is essential.

Grange Park School is a day special school committed to making a difference for 114 pupils aged between 11 and 19 who have an Autism Spectrum Condition and associated learning difficulties.

Class sizes at the Wrotham site are between 11-12 pupils with a teacher and 2 learning mentors.

At the Partnership colleges learning mentors are supporting individual students or small groups of students aged 16-19 years in the college tutor groups / classrooms and out in the community.
