HNF Teaching Assistant

Shears Green Junior School is looking to appoint a temporary teaching assistant(27hrs 05 mins)  to support key stage 2 pupils. We are looking for a well organised, reliable, flexible team member who can inspire and motivate our pupils. The role, is subject to receipt of High Needs Funding from the local authority, and will involve supporting individuals and working with small groups of children.  The post will be fixed term, initially until Summer 2019 when the situation will be reviewed.

Applicants must enjoy working with children, be emotionally intelligent, caring, and flexible and have excellent positive behaviour management strategies. We can offer you a happy, friendly working environment and a supportive team. Visits to the school are welcome. 

Applicants should have a good standard of English and Maths as well as a good general standard of education with an NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
