We are looking to recruit new members to our Teaching Assistant Team at Woodlands Primary School in Tonbridge.

Full time: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm, 32.5 hours per week.

Part time: Mon & Tues 8:30am to 3:30pm, Wed 1:30pm to 3:30pm 15 hours per week.

These roles will entail working with individuals and small groups in order to ensure that children have effective support to learn well and make good progress. We use a variety of support programmes within the school (for example Read Write Inc. and Lexia) and training will be provided to the successful candidate. The role includes daily lunchtime supervision. Start date as soon as possible in January 2019.

Relevant experience of working within a school would be helpful although a positive can-do attitude and the ability to work well as a member of a team are equally important. We do expect candidates to have good levels of literacy and numeracy.  The successful candidate will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS check.

Woodlands Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
