Learning Support Assistant

Temporary (Linked to Funding)

Kent Range 3 pro rata salary £15,628 - £17,188 FTE (£9,575- £10,534 actual salary)

27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only

 8.50am to 3.20pm daily

The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the learning of our students and raising their aspirations for the future.

 

Essential requirements include:

  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE grade C or above or equivalent).
  • Previous experience of working with children of secondary school age
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages to a proficient standard
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently

Information about the school

A mixed 11-19 co-educational High School of 1000 pupils serving the historic market town of West Malling and surrounding villages. The school is set in pleasant rural surroundings and has its own lake and extensive grounds. It was completely re-built in September 2007 and therefore has outstanding facilities.

West Malling is close to the county town of Maidstone and has excellent rail links to London and Ashford International (for the Continent).
