Attractive Full Time Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking an inspirational, highly effective KS1/KS2 teacher to join our friendly, dedicated and hugely supportive primary team. This opportunity would ideally suit an exceptional teacher who is interested in working alongside creative colleagues to develop a new broad and balanced curriculum within our welcoming church school community. Set in the heart of beautiful, Kent countryside, Egerton Church of England Primary School is a rural, one form entry primary school with 200 children on roll. Naturally the children are our greatest asset and the school plays a central part in the village community. We are a voluntary controlled Church of England school, committed to providing the highest quality education for all pupils in an atmosphere where our Christian faith is evident in all we teach and do together. Our aim is to create a community where our core values of compassion, humility, inspiration, love and determination are always present. All members – children, teachers, parents, staff and governors - play a key part in building community and we encourage with praise; we teach by example; we lead with respect for all.

We have an enthusiastic and welcoming staff team who are committed to providing a safe and happy environment which nurtures every child, which encourages them to develop their personal talents and which challenges them to achieve the highest academic standard. We believe the induction of new staff members is key, and have training opportunities available both in school and in our alliance of schools in order to support initial practice. We have a very supportive governing body, as well as an active parent association who are keen to help fund improvements in our curriculum and school grounds.
