Job Grade:    Kent Range 7: £21,790 - £24,790p.a.

Salary:           Starting salary £17,393 - £19,788 p.a. (pro-rata)

Hours:            35 hours per week (8.30am-4.00pm Monday-Friday), Term-Time plus Training Days

 We are seeking someone who can:

  • To engage with parents/carers and families to provide early intervention, support and guidance to increase engagement with the school.
  • Improve learning outcomes for pupils. To assess, implement and monitor action plans to support individual students.
  • To liaise with and undertake referrals to other agencies as appropriate.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals, to offer practical help and emotional support to vulnerable pupils and their families and drive forward partnership with parents to improve outcomes for our children.

 Personal Qualities and Experience:

  • Someone who is enthusiastic, diligent and self-motivated with excellent communication skills to work with children and their families who need support to overcome a variety of situations or difficulties.
  • Has experience of working in a multi-agency environment and can work alongside and support other professionals from other services
  • Has a child counselling qualification or is willing to undertake training
