We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Assistant to support our  growing maintained Nursery and our Outstanding Early Years Team, for 2 days a week on a Monday and a Friday.

Our thriving and purpose built Nursery now offers extended hours across the school day. The Nursery is an integral part of the school and the majority of our Nursery children transfer to the school's Reception classes.

You must have a child centered approach and recognise the importance of a stimulating environment whilst maintaining high expectations of learning and behaviour . We serve a wide catchment area and have children with a range of needs including SEN and EAL. Experience in these areas is essential. 

Previous experience of working in a Nursery environment, NVQ Level 2 equivalent in English and Maths and an NVQ 2 or equivalent in Early Years and Childcare Development would be an advantage.

The post is initially fixed term until 31st July 2019. Hours are Monday and Friday 8.30am to 4pm term-time only.

Visits to the Nursery are strongly encouraged. Please email the Headteacher to arrange a visit.
