The governors of this successful school wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to work with our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a committed and practising Catholic, be an excellent teacher who leads by example and possesses the skills, energy, drive and passion necessary to continue to develop and secure the very best outcomes for all our children, helping each to fulfil their potential and become ‘successful, confident and responsible’ individuals.

 Is a practising Catholic and committed to supporting the vision and ethos of a Catholic School

 Is able to take an active role in the leadership and management of the school alongside the Headteacher

 Has an outstanding and creative classroom style which will motivate and inspire colleagues in all aspects of teaching and learning

 Is able to empower colleagues and encourage them to take risks

St. Anselm’s is a very successful one-form primary school with 210 children. Our school is happy, warm and welcoming and we pride ourselves in the strong Catholic ethos which exists within it. We strive to work in partnerships with parents/carers and school Parish, which helps to provide a caring and effective learning environment where expectations and standards are high.
