St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School requires a 1:1 Mid-day Meals Supervisor starting as soon as possible to support a Reception aged pupil with special educational needs over the mealtime period. Working 7.5 hours over five days, 1 hour 30 minutes per day 11.50am – 1.20pm, 38 weeks per year (term time only).

 

The position involves:

  • being responsible for the named pupil over the mealtime period, including supervising play with peers, behaviour management, encouraging eating and supporting toilet training- changing clothes and personal care where necessary;
  • helping prepare the hall for lunch;
  • being part of the team that maintains the safety and wellbeing of all pupils during the mealtime period.

 

The person appointed needs to be enthusiastic, flexible and a good team player.
