Personal Assistant to the Headteacher 

Salary Scale  KR5 £18,059 - £19,863 (pro rata term time only)  

2 days per week (39 weeks per year – term time only plus 2 INSET days).

This role is to share the week with our existing experienced PA for a fixed term of 12 months. At which time the role will be reviewed with the possibility of extension.

We wish to appoint a highly organised and efficient Personal Assistant to provide a confidential service to our Headteacher and support our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of literacy and numeracy and excellent ICT, secretarial and communication skills.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide PA duties to the Headteacher including day to day administration, diary management, attendance at high level meetings, production of minutes and reports and other ad hoc duties. The position requires a highly organised, accurate, discreet, approachable and dedicated individual who has the ability to multi task and work under pressure. As a first point of contact, a good telephone manner, pleasing personality with good communication skills and smart appearance are essential.

Candidates must show a mature, patient and diplomatic aptitude with a strong sense of confidentiality and loyalty. The ability to manage time and workload efficiently is essential as is a strong working knowledge of MS Office.  Knowledge of SIMS is desirable however; training will be given if required.
