Chilmington Green Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant to start in February 2019.  30hrs/ 43 paid weeks (term time + 5 weeks holiday)  

We are looking for someone who can bring motivation, energy and excellent communication skills to the role.  You would need to support the class with their educational, physical, emotional and social development, and play an active role alongside the teacher in shaping the learning of the pupils.

Information about the school

Chilmington Green Primary School is open in the established site of Finberry Primary School and moves to Jemmett Road in January 2019.

The school will move into its new state of the art site on the Chilmington Green Development once building works have been completed, this is currently expected to be September 2020.

When fully operational Chilmington Green Primary School will have up to 60 pupils in each year group. It will also operate a nursery which will provide 26 full-time/52 part-time places. The building will host specialist provision for up to 14 primary aged pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. On opening, the school has an admission number of 30 for entry in year reception with mixed year groups classes up to Year 4.

Chilmington Green Primary School is part of The Stour Academy Trust, a highly successful primary only multi-academy trust. Working in a collaborative model, Chilmington will be part of the Ashford Hub of the Trust, joining Finberry Primary School.
