SEN Team Leader

Term Time 35 hours per week, plus 5 inset days plus 5 additional days

Grade 7 starting actual salary £18,308 p.a.

Endeavour MAT is a newly formed Trust, which currently comprises Wilmington Grammar School for Girls (WGSG), Wilmington Grammar School for Boys (WGSB) and is the Trust chosen to open Stone Lodge School in Dartford

Wilmington Grammar School for Girls is an 11-18 year old selective Girls’ Grammar School, with a co-educational sixth form, run jointly with Wilmington Grammar School for Boys. The school was judged ‘outstanding’ in November 2015 and is popular and oversubscribed.

We are looking to appoint an SEN team leader who will work under the direction of the MAT Senco, managing a small team of learning mentors.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school
  • Have a strong commitment to equal opportunities
  • Ensuring good outcomes for all groups of pupils to be able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Have experience of leading a small team of staff
  • Have experience of providing SEN support
