We are looking for a teaching assistant to work initially on a one year fixed term contract starting as soon as possible.

The role will involve working in our Year 2 class alongside our energetic, creative, well-motivated staff team and fantastic children. Experience is essential.

We need:

  • An individual who has the ability to enthuse and motivate children
  • A commitment to the highest standards of learning
  • Relevant and recent experience of working in a school, preferably in Key Stage 1
  • An ability to communicate, work as part of a successful team, take on board advice, use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • An individual who is organised, efficient and flexible in their approach
  • A good level of English, maths and science (at least to Grade C GCSE/ O' level)and a willingness to further develop and widen your own skills 
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT  
  • Current knowledge of SEND is desirable
