Sedley's Church of England Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our valued team. We are a caring and supportive school with a Christian ethos, providing the perfect environment for our pupils to thrive. The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to contribute to our school's community and vision. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work hard, has very high expectations of themselves and others and works well as part of a team.

We offer good relationships with parents, a team of supportive governors and a strong commitment to continuing professional development. Our children are well-behaved, polite, enthusiastic and keen to be inspired to make progress in their learning.

The position entails covering PPA release time across the school and therefore the candidate will need to have relevant qualification and experience of working across several Key Stages (EYFS, KS1 and KS2) We do expect candidates to have good levels of literacy and numeracy.

This position is for 11 per week, term time only. This is initially a fixed term contract until July 2019.

Sedleys CE Primary School is a small four-class village school in Southfleet, founded in 1637.

The school remains at the heart of the community, and is actively involved in village life, and well supported by the Governors, Church and PFA. The school is close to A2/M25 and a few minutes drive from Bluewater.

Our school vision is Love to Learn - Learn to Love, and with this we drive our passion for the importance of education.

It currently has a Good OFSTED grade and an Outstanding Church School Inspection grade.
