We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic new member to our Admin Team at Woodlands Primary School in Tonbridge. 

This is a permanent part-time position 21hours per week Wednesday to Friday, term time plus Inset days.  The salary is on Kent Range 4 and will be a pro rata of £17,189. Start date as soon as possible once DBS and references are received.

The Finance Assistant will support the School Business Manager processing orders, invoicing, stock taking, dealing with supplier queries, assist the management of the Voluntary Fund together with additional ad-hoc duties including covering colleague absence. A good working knowledge of school financial systems is essential together with experience working independantly in FMS.

The successful applicant will consistently promote the school in a positive manner and have the following skills and competencies: be efficient and well organised, remain calm under pressure, able to work to deadlines together with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be dealing across the whole school staff.

Information about the school

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have approximately 600 pupils on roll, organised into three classes per year group across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
