Early Years Learning Support Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a creative and committed Early Years Learning Support Assistant to work in our reception class whose expectations and ambitions are as high as our own.

An excellent Early Years Learning Support Assistant with a creative approach to teaching and learning who can inspire and motivate our children

Are committed to continuous professional development as an outstanding practitioner
Have the highest expectations for yourself and others
Enjoy new challenges and working as part of a team
Have knowledge of outside learning such as Forest Schools
NVQ3 EYFS Qualified or equivalent
Knowledge of Tapestry would be an advantage
Some 1:1 support may be required

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 12pm - 3.30pm (17.5 hours per week with effect from January 2019)

Temple Grove Academy is a 1.5FE primary based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, 50 minutes by train from central London. The nursery can cater for up to 52 pupils. The academy has extensive grounds for outdoor education and has recently benefitted from major capital investment.

Information about the school

Temple Grove Academy is a one-form entry primary school located in Tunbridge Wells (near High Brooms train station). It has been managed by the Temple Grove Academy Trust since 2011 and has since achieved a Good rating from Ofsted in September 2019. In all five areas of judgment:

TGA aims to, over time, further improve its facilities in order to become a local Forest School leader and offer not only year-round weekly sessions but also holiday camps and term time sessions to other local primary schools.
