We are looking to recruit an outstanding practitioner to cover a Year R class in our 3 form entry infant school.

We are looking to appoint that special person who is:

  • An outstanding, enthusiastic, classroom practitioner committed to a child centred approach to teaching
  • Inspirational and has an imaginative approach to all aspects of teaching and learning
  • Dedicated to excellence, inclusion and raising standards and has high expectations
  • Highly effective at planning, delivering and evaluating lessons
  • Organised with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to foster and maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parent/carers
  • Adept at teaching an Early Years curriculum

As an Outstanding Early Years setting we have gained National Teaching School status. We firmly believe in collaborative working and are a member of the Canterbury Coastal Alliance, working together with 14 local schools to ensure the sharing of expertise and continuing professional development. We are committed to the development of all of our staff and encourage our teachers to be reflective practitioners dedicated to improving their own learning.
