Our staff, governors and children are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, friendly and committed SENCO to join our wonderful school.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a wide range of SEN experience/ knowledge, as well as being an outstanding class teacher. You will ensure that all pupils are able to access our broad and balanced curriculum, as well as ensuring that interventions are tailored to our pupils and monitored thoroughly. 

This role will require the successful candidate to take the leading role in the implementation and management of student’s EHCPs and individualised needs, working closely with the senior leadership team, class teachers, parents and external agencies.

Please note that this is a part time role (3 days a week with the possibility of overtime).

Information about the school

Set in a semi rural location, Downsview is a one form entry primary school with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The new library is the central hub of the school. Classrooms are spacious, all with direct access to outside learning spaces. The grounds are extensive offering sports fields and outdoor learning environments including specialist areas for science and gardening. The school offers before and after school care. As a school we are dedicated to promoting the well-being and development of the whole child and believe that the qualities of our staff team and co-operation with our parents / carers and local community are central to achieving this.
