Sedley’s Church of England Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our valued team. We are a caring and supportive school with a Christian ethos, providing the perfect environment for our pupils to thrive. The successful candidate will be flexible and willing to contribute to our school’s community and vision. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work hard, has very high expectations of themselves and others and works well in a team.

We offer good relationships with parents, a team of supportive governors and a strong commitment to continuing professional development. Our children are well-behaved, polite, enthusiastic and keen to be inspired to make progress in their learning.

Relevant experience of working within a school would be preferred, although a positive can-do attitude and the ability to work well as a member of a team are equally important. We do expect candidates to have good levels of literacy and numeracy.

This position is for 21 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) term time only, and includes an element of lunchtime supervision duties.

School visits are strongly recommended and welcomed prior to application. Please contact Mrs Moore, our Office Manager, to make an appointment.

Sedley's is fully committed to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children.  Any successful appointment will be subject to the relevant DBS checks, health questionnaire, references, self disclosure etc.
