The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and hardworking part time teacher to join our school, starting in January 2019. We are looking for an additional teacher to work across Year 6, to teach an English and Mathematics set every morning (Monday to Friday). This position is initially until the end of the academic year, July 2019.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher, with recent experience of teaching in Year 6, who has the ability to achieve above average progress with the pupils they teach.

 A teacher who:

• is a self-motivated practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour;

• is driven and inspirational;

• is committed to working hard and ambitious for themselves and others;

• is enthusiastic and an excellent team member;

• demonstrates creativity, imagination and determination;

• has an ability to work closely with parents to establish good relationships.

Selection process:

Candidates shortlisted will be observed teaching, undertaken a written exercise, an interview with pupils and a formal interview.
