KS2 Teacher (Temporary contract until 31.08.2019)

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced Teacher to join our caring team with our Primary provision. The successful applicant has to be a skilled classroom practitioner. They will have high expectations of work and behaviour and a commitment to raising standards even higher in our school. They should be imaginative and enthusiastic with an eagerness to bring learning alive, differentiate the curriculum to meet individual needs and fit in with our school ethos. A working knowledge of the National Curriculum alongside any relevant SEN experience is an advantage. They must have the ability to work as part of a team and lead their own class team with a positive and flexible outlook. The post is for a Year 5/6 Class Teacher.

Information about the school

Laleham Gap is a Communication and Interaction Special School. We have pupils aged from 4 to 18 years of age. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. Most pupils will achieve some GCSEs or equivalent at age 16. Laleham Gap is a new, high quality and well-resourced environment and the opportunity to work with an established, experienced and highly motivated team.
