Temporary one year maternity leave contract

The post is a temporary one year contract (maternity leave) from Term 3 2019, in Year 2.  In your role as teacher at Pilgrims' Way Primary School, you will be required to inspire children, celebrate success, embrace learning and uphold our school values - Respect, Aspire, Positive, Resilience, Success.

We offer a supportive and enthusiastic staff, wonderful children and inspirational professional development opportunities. Our philosophy of research informed practice and support for developing personal learning is of high priority. Experienced and NQT applicants very welcome.

Information about the school

Our school has been part of the Veritas Multi Academy Trust since May 2018. Ofsted report September 2022 rates our school as GOOD with an OUTSTANDING Early Years. Our irresistible curriculum and inclusive ethos ensures that all children achieve their potential.

The school is situated in the beautiful city of Canterbury, benefitting from many excellent cultural opportunities. We have wonderful grounds, including a forest school. Learning outside the classroom is a school priority.

We are on an exciting journey to rebuild our school and are working with the Department for Education on a new build project.
