Assistant Subject Leader Mathematics

Required for January 2019

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR

A further remunerated responsibility as Pupil Premium Co-ordinator is available

 

We are looking for an inspiring individual who will relish the opportunity to teach Mathematics to our highly motivated students. You should be a good Honours graduate, with a love of Mathematics. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to further their career in a supportive and stimulating environment. The post requires you to support the Subject Leader for Mathematics taking responsibility for a key stage which attracts a TLR of £2,664 per annum. There is also the opportunity of an additional responsibility (£2,664 per annum), as Pupil Premium Co-ordinator for a candidate with suitable experience.

 

Mathematics is studied by all students throughout the School including the Sixth Form as part of the IB Diploma. Students in Years 7–11 and in our co-ed Sixth Form become increasingly independent learners as they progress through the School and achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and in the internationally recognised IB Diploma. Experience of teaching the IB is not essential, training is offered.

The School offers an outstanding internationally minded education and an extensive professional development programme for all staff supporting; induction, leadership development and well-being.
