Nursery Administration Assistant

(Part-time)

8 Hours per week, over 2 days

Term time only

 

Grade: Kent Range 3

(£15,628 - £17,188 per annum pro rata to hours/weeks worked

 (38 weeks per year).

 

Herne Bay Infant & Nursery School is a large busy school in the heart of Herne Bay with lovely enthusiastic children and a friendly, supportive staff. We are looking for a well-organised, efficient and enthusiastic person to join our team to assist in maintaining the efficient running of the Nursery by providing the full range of administrative and clerical support to the Nursery and Senior Staff.

 This is a busy and hectic office, no day is the same, we are looking for someone with excellent all round IT skills, a ‘can do’ approach and the ability to be flexible, helpful and friendly.

Information about the school

This large thriving school is well established in the area and shares a site with Herne Bay Junior School, bounded by Kings Road and Stanley Road and enjoying a central position in the town.

The school is a 3 form entry with a nursery and there are currently 300 children on roll. There is a good staff/pupil ratio throughout the school ensuring an inclusive, creative, supportive and secure environment.

As a school committed to safeguarding children all staff members will undergo an enhanced DBS check and candidates will be assessed on their suitability to work with children. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, checks include references, online searches and health clearance before employment.
