Are you passionate about helping young people fulfil their potential? Do you have experience working with children in Key Stage 2?  Do you have the ability to inspire children and encourage them to grow in independence and self-confidence? 

You will work closely with the class teacher to support a child with learning difficulties in the classroom setting on a one to one basis. We would also be looking for you to help with other children in the class when necessary. You will have bags of initiative and will be a reliable team player. This position is for 2 hours a day to support the child in Maths and English and is on a fixed term for this accademic year but may be extended.

Information about the school

We are a small Church of England School situated in the village of Sundridge, with approximately 70 children on roll, set in a beautiful part of Kent. We have a strong family ethos and value our close links with our parents, the wider community and local churches.

The school site is small but we have wonderful support from the community which allows us to go off site for PE lessons and Forest School throughout the year to fantastic site within close proximity to the school. We provide a wide range of pastoral support for our children and families in order to ensure that every child has the opportunity to fully experience school both inside and outside the classroom.

Sundridge & Brasted CE Primary School is part of the Darent Federation of Primary Schools. We work closely with other local schools and the Local Authority to ensure that we have the best practices in place to benefit our children and staff. We are also supported by a strong governing body.
