We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant on a part-time fixed term contract for one year to support in a Key Stage 1 classroom.

The hours will be 30 hours per week during term time, to be worked from 8.45am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.

The salary is paid at Kent Range 3, £15,628 - £17,188 pro rata for part time. 

We require you to have proven successful current experience of working with children and an ability to lead learning with groups and individuals responding to the needs of children, with support and direction from the teacher.

Whilst working within a class team, the main role will be working with a named child with specific needs. Please see the attached job description for an outline of the skills and experience that is desirable for this role. A good understanding of ASD and behaviour management is essential, together with nurturing attitude.

You will need the minimum qualification of an NVQ Level 2 in Teaching & Learning and be able to reflect our nurturing, positive and inclusive ethos and work extremely well with teams, including external agencies.
