Seal has an exciting opportunity for a skilled, highly motivated and confident Teaching Assistant to deliver a personalised curriculum to three KS2 pupils, commencing as soon as possible.

The post offered is a part time temporary contract, initially for one year. Hours of work will be 8:30am to 12:30pm (20 hours per week) term time only. The position is paid at KR3, £15,628 pa (pro rata £6,966.34 pa).

The successful candidate will be supported by the class teachers and SENCO, to plan and deliver a Maths, English and Speech and Language curriculum to a small group of KS2 pupils working below age related expectations.

You will need to be confident at working independently and have excellent communication skills. Your ability to build relationships, have a positive outlook and a willingness to try different approaches is essential. A good level of English and Maths is required (grade C or above at GCSE or equivalent) and knowledge of the National Curriculum is desirable. You will be supported by the SENCO and Class Teacher to facilitate high quality learning and help our pupils achieve their best.
