We are looking for a KS1 Class teacher from January 2019 to cover a maternity absence. Applicants looking for a part-time post would be considered

We are seeking an inspirational, highly motivated and creative teacher to join our dedicated, experienced team working in a KS1 class. This is to cover a maternity cover and in the frst instance will run to the end of the summer term. The successful candidate will be:

  • an excellent primary practitioner who has high expectations of teaching and learning, achievement and behaviour
  • able to offer learners a high quality, exciting and creative curriculum, giving the children the confidence to succeed
  • able to use assessment effectively to improve learning opportunities for all pupils
  • able to ingratiate themselves in our friendly and supportive staff body

As a school we believe in supporting and developing our teachers and although this is a maternity cover there will be an opportuniy for the successful applicant to work with our local partners in order to develop their own teaching skills. We believe that working at St Peter's will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
