We are looking for an experienced SENCO for two days a week to start term 2 (29/10/2018) or term 3 (01/01/2019) as we are prepared to wait or the right candidate.  The post is initially fixed term for a year with the possibility of this becoming permanent.

The SENCO will be an exemplary practitioner with a remit to ensure that a children with SEND are taught effectively throughout the school.  The SENCO will be respnsible for the day to day operation of SEND provision.  The SENCO will also need to ensure that the school upholds its duties according to the Code of Practice and they will, co-ordinate, monitor and develop provision for children with SEND according to national and local guidelines, the SEND Policy and school procedures.

Ideally we are looking for the SENCO to have the following qualification - National Award for SEN Co-Ordination.

Sholden Church of England Primary School is a delightful small, church primary school located on the outskirts of Deal. We have 4 classes, 3 of which are mixed year groups and approximately 105 pupils on roll.
