We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, well organised and reliable Finance Assistant to provide finance support and facilitate the efficient and effective use of the school’s budget.  The position is part-time, term time only, 20 hours per week, Mon - Fri 8.15am - 12.15pm, although there may be some flexibility for the right candidate. 

It is essential that you have relevant experience in a finance role, an excellent knowledge of excel and a good level of education to at least GCSE level; a Book Keeping qualification would be desirable.  You must be a positive team player with excellent communication skills and be abe to establish good relationships with staff, pupils, the wider school community and all visitors to the school office.

Meopham Community Academy is a two form entry primary school set in a beautiful village location and the school prides itself on providing a happy, safe and caring environment for all its pupils. We are a busy, friendly and popular school with a warm and welcoming ethos; recognised by all who visit!

We want our children to enjoy their time and education with us and to achieve the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives. We are very proud of our school and the high standards of behaviour and learning that our children achieve.

Our broad curriculum, wide range of extra-curricular activities and support for pupils were all recognised in the most recent, short Ofsted inspection in October 2018, where the school continued to be rated as "Good".

We are now part of The Golden Thread Alliance and we work closely with the other schools in the trust.
