Wanted! An energetic, enthusiastic and motivated cleaner to join our two friendly and welcoming teams at Kennington CE Academy and Charing CE Academy.  The successful candidate will be required to work in Kennington from 6am to 9am and Charing from 3pm to 6pm, 5 days a week.  Please confirm in your application if you wish to work in both schools or one. 

 This position is a temporary post which will be for a minimumj of a year. 

Both schools are part of Aquila Academy which is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and successful applicants will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.

In return, we can offer you a friendly and hardworking team of staff and governors, who will be fully supportive of your professional development.  We are both good schools  by our Ofsted inspectors in 2017.

Information about the school

Kennington CE Academy is 3 form entry (12 classes) for Key stage 2 of 360 pupils, situated in North Ashford and serving a mixed community of children who are enthusiastic about learning and their school.

We have strong relationships with our feeder Infant school, Downs View and The Towers, our nearest high school. Our church school status has led us to develop close links with the local parish church. We are sponsored by Aquila, the Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk)
