  • 37 hours per week (08:00-16:00 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-15:30 Friday).
  • All Year Round, or, option to work 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus Staff Development Days), plus 4 additional weeks during the school holiday periods, in which case the salary will be pro rata to £20,178-£22,956.

We are looking to appoint a competent Admin Manager who is committed to working in partnership with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, providing comprehensive, high-level administrative support. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the school’s administrative function and other key areas of the school, such as school admissions.  They will be the line manager for the admin team. 

The role requires flexibility, tact and problem-solving on a daily basis. Therefore it is essential that they are professional, approachable and a very effective communicator.  Applicants should be well-educated, preferably to further education level/Level 3, including the minimum of a Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in English and maths.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant professional qualifications.
  • A strong administrative background.
  • Experience of working in a school environment/office, preferably at a senior/supervisory level.
  • The ability to take accurate notes of meetings.
  • A smart, professional appearance.
  • Experience of successful management/supervision of others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines to high standards.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Competence to lead on matters related to SLT support.
