At New Line Learning Academy we require an inspirational Family Intervention Officer is to assist in tackling underachievement by working in partnership with families, parents, career’s and pupils in a school context to enable pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly supportive group of dedicated people.

 

As well as working with students in the Plaza learning environments, you will also work directly with parents in a non-judgmental way, empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available. As well as focusing on and working on preventative and early intervention activities. 

 

The position is 37 hours per week (Mon-Thur 08:00 - 16:00pm, Fri 08:00 - 15:30pm), term time plus four additional weeks.
