Hugh Christie is an 11-18 mixed school based in Tonbridge, Kent. We were recognised as ‘good’ by OfSTED in 2017.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and motivated Teacher of Science who will join and strengthen our successful department. This role would be suitable for NQTs as well as those with experience in the profession or those seeking to return to teaching. A Teaching and Learning Responsibility could be available for experienced candidates looking for a new role.

We are looking for an excellent teacher with the enthusiasm, skill and ability to make a positive contribution to the team and to inspire our students of all abilities and ages, including A level Sixth Form teaching.

You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience of good student progress
  • A track record of consistently good or outstanding teaching
  • Excellent organisational and ICT skills
  • The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for your subject and the ability to share this with students
