We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Partner to join our team at Temple Grove Academy.

Full-time, term time (39 weeks), spent in class, lunchtime supervision

This is a fixed term contract until July 2022 in the first instance.

The main focus of the role is to provide support to pupils in receipt of High Needs Funding. Your responsibilities may include supporting children in achieving the lesson objective, leading 1:1 and group intervention programmes, feeding back to the class teacher, maintaining records of progress and behaviour, working with children to support any social, emotional, behavioural, personal care or medical needs and liaising with parents and external professionals.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Be able to model excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the children
  • Be committed to raising standards.
  • Be able to liaise closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community

Temple Grove Academy is a one-form entry primary school located in Tunbridge Wells (near High Brooms train station). It has been managed by the Temple Grove Academy Trust since 2011 and has since achieved a Good rating from Ofsted in September 2019. In all five areas of judgment:
