The Gateway Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher to work 2 / 3 days a week teaching classes in KS2 covering teacher's PPA time. An interest in teaching the creative arts would be welcomed.

You will need to be a teacher who:

  • Has recent experience teaching in KS2
  • Can evidence their skills as a good/outstanding class teacher with a secure knowledge of the curriculum
  • Has a friendly, flexible and hard working disposition
  • Enjoys being part of a team of professionals committed to delivering an outstanding education for all pupils

We are a very popular and high attaining one form entry Primary Academy with a big heart and strong sense of community. During the visit, the inspector praised the leadership of the school, the behaviour of the children and the varied curriculum on offer, which together with the effectiveness of the learning environment and excellent relationships contributes to the high standards achieved by our pupils year on year.
