We are seeking enthusiastic and committed cleaners to join our schools in Sittingbourne, Kent who are responsible for cleaning all internal areas of the Trust schools to ensure they are kept in a pleasant, hygienic and safe condition.

Applicants should have experience of cleaning to a high standard and be confident in the use of relevant cleaning equipment. Applicants should be reliable and trustworthy with a flexible and willing approach, able to work within set routines and establish positive working relationships.

We have vacancies at two Trust sites: Minterne Junior School 12.5 hours per week (3.30-6.00pm) and Borden Primary School 10 hours per week (3.30-5.30pm) daily during term time plus additional specialised deep cleaning programs during school closures). Leave can only be taken during school holidays.

There is also a temporary vacancy at Minterne to cover long term sickness

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. An understanding of health and safety in relation to this role would be beneficial.

The salary for this post will be paid pro rata on Kent Range 2 (FTE £15101, increasing to FTE £15627 wef 1 September 2018).

Potential in Everyone Academy Trust is a Church based Multi Academy Trust which is made up of two small Church of England Primary Schools (Bredgar and Borden), a three form entry Infant School (The Oaks) and a three form entry Junior school (Minterne). We also proudly provide a specialist resource provision for children with speech and language difficulties on the Oaks and Minterne site. The Trust's registered office is Bredgar CE Primary School.
