Required for September 2018 – a teaching assistant to join the dedicated and talented team of staff at Hadlow Primary School.

The successful candidate:

  • Has a good level of English and Maths -at least GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or equivalent(Functional Skills Level 2) and good spoken English
  • Is an excellent communicator and able to work well with colleagues, parents and professionals from other agencies
  • Is able to show and use initiative
  • Is willing to participate in further training when appropriate to support childrens' needs
  • Is flexible and able to adapt to the changing requirements of the children and the school
  • Is able to deal with challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
  • Has a secure level of basic IT skills

The role is expected to be for 16 and a half hours a week term time only, paid on Kent Range 3 Scale.
