West Heath School is an Independent SEN residential School with Charitable status for children aged 10-19yrs with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The successful candidate will work as part of an outstanding team.
We believe in developing life skills and encouraging students to realise their full potential through different educational pathways, alongside access to therapy and care.
We are looking to recruit two HLTAs in order to strengthen the quality of our provision to support our learners. HLTAs will continue to work in class, supporting learners but the role will include additional responsibilities. The responsibilities include but are not limited to, working with the Learning Support Manager to quality assure the practise of TAs across school. HLTAs will share responsibility for the induction of new TA colleagues and also be expected to work with individual students as well as small groups, planning, resourcing and delivering sessions.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) x 2
Starting September 2018
£18,000 per annum(actual salary)
HLTA qualification or willing to work towards
3 years Teaching Assistant experience
Term time only (39 weeks) Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
