The school requires a caretaker for this coming September. (ideally late July)

We are a fantastic site with established buildings and landscaping. We are looking for someone proactive who has a keen, forward thinking attitude. The ability to work with a variety of people is a must and the mindset that the school comes first when it comes to decsion making with contractors. There is an element of hands on cleaning as part of the hours on offer as part of the role is managing our in house cleaning team.

The role is for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year with 5 weeks holiday to be taken at set times.

Normal hours of work will be-

There is flexibility in these hours on occasion, for example- sports day, Christmas events, and parent’s evening. You should talk to the headteacher in advance for such changes.

There are also additional payments for unsocial call outs to attend alarms, police etc. There are also occasional extra hours for Saturday events such as girl guides, scouts and fetes.

 

Holiday time should be agreed well in advance with the Headteacher and will need to be mindful of any works planned during the long summer. The holiday pattern is as follows-

Special occasion requests for holidays outside of the normal pattern above would need to be in writing to the headteacher.

 Full DBS and references will be required and candidates will have to complete in house child protection and prevent training.
