Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 2.30pm

30 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 Negotiated Days

Kent Range 5 (£18,059 - £19,863) equating to £12,355 per annum

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls is an outstanding selective school with an excellent Science Faculty.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and capable person to join our innovative and successful Science Faculty.  All students study Science to GCSE with more than 45 students continuing to study A level Chemistry; all of the Chemistry courses have a strong emphasis on practical work. The successful candidate will lead on the provision of materials for students in Chemistry lessons, support teaching staff and support the safe and efficient maintenance of the Science Faculty.

 

Applicants should have previous laboratory experience but training will be provided where necessary. Applicants will show a commitment to support the ethos of the school and an ability to implement its policies, including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety.

 

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls has over 1200 students with a mixed Sixth Form of approximately 320.
