Cornwallis Academy is an exciting school, which has just been rated Good by Ofsted in all areas, we are now looking to appoint an outstanding Teachers of Sociology who can show a real passion for the subject and can inspire students about their learning. This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher to join us in September 2018.

 

We are looking for a teacher who is really passionate and excited about teaching Sociology but can also teach across the department that will make a significant contribution to the further improvement of this faculty. We encourage our students to thrive academically but their wellbeing remains at the core of our vision and ethos.

 

Taught across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 and are increasingly popular option choices for our students. The faculty has its own plaza and designated teaching spaces, which are bright and spacious and support the learning of our pupils.  The CPD programme and support we offer is excellent and would therefore encourage you to join us to excel and develop your career as a teacher. So if you're highly qualified or fresh from your graduation, we offer a school keen to offer support whenever you need it.
