We are looking for a creative and dynamic NQT with a passion for teaching in Early Years to join our high performing team. We are a great staff team; we value every member of staff, providing high quality coaching and mentoring to support our teaching team to achieve their professional goals. We take wellbeing seriously, promoting mindfulness as a strategy to support this. 

 

This is for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave from 28 August 2018 - 31 July 2019.

Tenterden Infant School is a good school (Ofsted: February 2019) where pupil behaviour is outstanding.

Tenterden Infant School is part of the Tenterden Primary Federation and works in close partnership with Tenterden CE Junior School.

Our school is situated in the country town of Tenterden with a population of approximately 6,000. We are on the eastern margin of the Weald of Kent, 12 miles from Ashford, 18 miles from Maidstone and 25 miles from the Channel Tunnel.

We are a two form entry school, part of the Tenterden Schools Trust with Tenterden CE Junior School, St Michaels Primary School, Rolvenden Primary School and Homewood School and Sixth form college which gives opportunities for collaborative team working.

We have eight classes, with 154 pupils currently on roll. The school works in strong partnership with parents and is working hard to raise standards and improve pupil progress.
