Required for September 2018 we are looking to appoint an English Tutor to join our very successful English department that was highly praised during our recent Ofsted inspection.

The candidate needs enthusiasm and be passionate in assisting young people reach and fulfil their potential in English.

You will be required to teach English to small groups of students and also 1:1 sessions at both key stage 3 and 4.  We are looking for a candidate who can create and deliver learning interventions to suit individual pupils.

During the after school hours of  3.30 to 5.30pm you will be working with small groups of year 11 students.

This is a part-time role, term time plus INSET days, but there will be the opportunity to work extra hours during holiday time for revision classes.

The hours are 35 hours a week, working 10am to 5.30 Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday.  However this can be flexible for the right candidate.

Salary:  SAA WAT Band pt14-17- £15,050 - £16,069 (FTE £18,580 - £19,838)
